Bio

A chronic dreamer, Lucky has spent most of his life pursuing the passions of music, science, and theatre. Having started on the snare drum in the school band at age 10, he has since developed proficiencies in multiple instruments; drum set, orchestral percussion, rhythm guitar, bass guitar, and voice(tenor/baritone). In academics, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Morgan State University. He has walked many different professional pathways (waiter, bartender, locksmith apprentice, contracting engineer, medieval squire, to name a few), but his truest calling is as an entertainer.

Lucky Marino is a freelance entertainer from Baltimore, Maryland.

Actor

Lucky's role as a thespian is primarily in musical theater, although he has dabbled in other theatrical pursuits. He loves character driven stories (probably stemming from a lifelong love of science fiction/fantasy, dungeons and dragons, and professional wrestling) and deep-diving into the motivation of complicated three-dimensional characters.

Musician

Lucky's journey as a musician officially began at the age of 10. Having wanted to play the drum set since he could remember, he struck a deal with his parents that if he joined the 5th grade  band's percussion section and took his lessons seriously, a drum set MIGHT be in his future. More than 30 years later he has branched out and has worked professionally playing drum set, percussion, guitar, bass guitar, and as a vocalist. From keeping the drum groove going through the dance break in musical theater orchestras to hyping up a crowd as the lead singer of a rock band, Lucky has played the musician's role in many capacities.

Scientist

Lucky earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland. He has worked in a professional capacity as a modeling and simulation engineer, threat analyst, technology protection engineer,  and prototype integration engineer.
